Position Overview
As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing and further professionalizing the financial organization. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach and act as a trusted advisor to senior management.
In this position, you will lead the finance team while actively contributing to daily financial operations.
Project Details
You will be involved in supporting a growing and internationally expanding organization within the energy transition sector. The role focuses on strengthening financial processes, improving reporting structures, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze financial data and prepare monthly reports
Develop and manage budgets and forecasts
Advise management based on financial insights
Oversee cash flow management
Handle tax filings (including VAT and payroll taxes)
Lead and support two financial administrative employees
Actively participate in daily financial operations
Optimize and professionalize financial processes
Contribute to the company’s growth and international expansion
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Finance or related field
Several years of relevant experience as a Financial Controller or Financial Administrator
Experience within an international staffing or secondment organization is a plus
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach
Ability to switch quickly in a dynamic environment
Leadership capabilities and team-oriented mindset
Client-focused and service-oriented attitude
Experience with Exact Online & Projects is a plus
Fluent in Dutch and English
